The introduction of the powerful and brand new TDV8 as a fourth engine option completes the launch phase of the Range Rover Sport. Land Roverīs most performance oriented vehicle yet has been consistently in high demand and in many markets there is a waiting list for the īsports tourerī.

With a combination of exciting performance and fuel economy of 25.5mpg on combined fuel cycle, the new TDV8 is expected to stretch the Range Rover Sportīs appeal even further.

The TDV8 engine has been designed to power the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, making sure there are no compromises made to its off-road ability, and was first seen earlier on this year in the Range Rover. For the Range Rover Sport, the engine calibration, installation and applications have been developed to deliver a more sporty driving experience that suits the vehicle.

The introduction of the 2007 TDV8 will sit alongside detailed specification upgrades and improvements across the Range Rover Sport line-up. The existing three engine options continue to be available - the TDV6, V8 petrol and V8 supercharged.
